Inversion Table Weight Limits Explained
Why the number on the box matters for frame longevity — and how to pick a rating that fits your body with margin to spare.
The weight capacity on an inversion table is a structural rating, not a suggestion. Buying a table rated only at your exact body weight leaves little margin for dynamic load as you rotate.
We generally recommend choosing a capacity comfortably above your weight. Heavier users should look closely at models rated 300–350 lbs with reinforced steel frames.
Capacity is one of the hard specs in our ranking model. Open the results page to compare weight ratings side by side across our top five.
